Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

Liaison is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join its core Software Development team. You will help design and build highly scalable, web‑based multi‑tenant applications that serve colleges, universities, and educational associations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise‑grade, high‑volume web platforms using Java (8+) and JEE technologies.
• Participate in design discussions with product management and development teams to shape new features.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and business logic with Spring, Hibernate/Spring JPA, and PostgreSQL.
• Build responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.
• Contribute to technology evaluation, prototyping, and selection to improve the infrastructure.
• Recommend and implement performance and scalability enhancements for flagship products.
• Create unit and integration tests, applying Test‑Driven Development and quality measurement tools.
• Promote a culture of innovation and engineering excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, IT or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of professional experience developing enterprise Java applications.
• Strong proficiency with Java 8+, Spring (MVC, Security, Integration), and Hibernate/Spring JPA.
• Experience building RESTful services and web applications using Angular or React.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile development practices and distributed teams.
• Solid knowledge of Git version control.
