Freelance Short-Form Content Creator for Social Media

About the role

We are seeking a freelance short‑form content creator to produce launch and early‑stage social media videos for our food‑surplus marketplace. The focus is on fun, engaging Reels that resonate with Gen Z and young millennial audiences in Lebanon, introduce the app, and drive downloads.

Key responsibilities

• Concept, shoot, and edit vertical short‑form videos (Reels) for Instagram and Facebook.
• Stay up‑to‑date with trending sounds and formats and adapt them quickly to the brand.
• Pitch original content ideas and help shape the overall content direction.
• Edit each video with strong hooks, captions, and pacing tailored to each platform.
• Create bilingual content in Arabic and English.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience creating short‑form, engaging social media content.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Portfolio of short‑form videos (client projects or personal accounts).
• Ability to turn ideas around quickly and work independently while following brand guidelines.

Required skills

• Video editing for short‑form vertical content.
• Social media content creation for Instagram Reels and Facebook.

What we offer

• Compensation ranging from $700 to $950 USD for the full scope of work, defined together based on the final content plan.
