Food Operations Team Lead

About the role

PawPots is seeking a dedicated Food Operations Team Lead to manage and enhance food manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will oversee production, quality control, cost management, optimize efficiency, reduce waste and lead the operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations across branches to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships to guarantee quality and cost‑effectiveness.
• Oversee purchasing, budgeting and kitchen expense control.
• Monitor product quality and enforce HACCP/ISO22000 standards.
• Resolve operational customer complaints promptly.
• Coordinate with other departments to improve products and processes.
• Track financial records, equipment costs and assets.
• Identify and implement process‑efficiency upgrades.
• Optimize ERP and task‑management tool usage and train staff.
• Lead onboarding and continuous training for the operations team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Industrial Technology, Food Engineering or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 5–7 years experience in food industry, catering or operations management.
• Proven project and multi‑site team management abilities.
• Experience with documentation, process improvement and ERP systems.
• Strong background in quality control and food‑safety compliance (HACCP, ISO22000).
• Detail‑oriented, self‑driven and focused on operational excellence.
• Fluent English and proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
