Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst will join Liaison’s Finance team to partner with senior leadership and cross‑functional groups. The role focuses on driving profitable growth, improving operational efficiency, and providing data‑driven insights for strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in creating the annual operating plan and develop analytical tools for goal setting and performance measurement.
• Analyze historical and forecasted financial and operational results, highlighting trends, variances, opportunities, and risks for senior management.
• Lead quarterly forecasting processes covering income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, headcount and other key metrics.
• Prepare budget‑to‑actual analyses, investigate significant variances and work with business leaders on corrective actions.
• Support M&A activities including financial modeling, due diligence, valuation and integration projects.

Required profile

• BS degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3‑5 years of progressive finance or accounting experience in a high‑growth tech or private‑equity environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
• Comfortable thriving in a fast‑changing environment and collaborating with senior leaders.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling.
• Experience with Vena Solutions, Great Plains Dynamics and Salesforce/CRM.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven process automation.
• Exposure to M&A financial analysis and valuation.
