Finance Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join WPP Media’s MENA Finance team, supporting financial analysis and reporting across the region. Reporting to the EMEA team, the role combines strong financial statement and credit risk analysis with a passion for leveraging technology and AI in finance.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse financial statements across multiple markets, identifying trends, variances and financial risks.
• Conduct credit risk analysis, follow up on collections and work with credit insurance providers to minimise exposure.
• Prepare accurate and insightful financial and management reports for stakeholders.
• Work with financial reporting systems and large data sets to ensure timely analysis.
• Develop and maintain advanced Excel‑based models and reporting tools to automate processes.
• Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency, analysis and reporting.
• Communicate financial insights and recommendations clearly to finance and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, accounting or credit analysis.
• Strong hands‑on experience in financial statement and credit risk analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting systems or BI tools.
• Good understanding of financial reporting and key financial metrics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and collaborate across markets.
