About the role

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is seeking an Emergency Room Nurse to work in the Emergency Departments of South Governmental Hospitals in Lebanon. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care that meets both national and international standards while representing the ICRC within hospital settings.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate with hospital teams to ensure smooth access and continuity of care for emergency patients.
Promote and uphold ICRC standards and guidelines in the emergency department.
Support, coach, and build the capacity of local emergency department staff in nursing care.
Contribute to the development and implementation of SOPs, guidelines, and training strategies.
Assist in emergency preparedness and improve clinical management of patients.

Required profile

Legally eligible to work in Lebanon.
Professional nursing qualification with experience in emergency care.
Commitment to ICRC’s principles of humanity, impartiality, and non‑discrimination.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary hospital teams.
