Embedded Systems Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Embedded Systems Engineer to design, develop, and refine firmware for a variety of embedded platforms that interact with sensors, peripheral I/O, and safety circuitry. The role offers full‑stack exposure from hardware bring‑up to high‑level control logic, delivering real products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop reliable, high‑quality firmware in C/C++ for embedded controllers and related boards.
• Specify, design, and implement features such as control logic, communication protocols, and sensor interfaces.
• Debug and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, collaborating with hardware, mechanical, and testing teams.
• Support testing, validation, and field issue resolution to ensure safe and dependable operation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 1 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in embedded systems and firmware development.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and circuit analysis.
• Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and in‑circuit debuggers.

Required skills

• Programming in C and C++.
• Experience with microcontroller peripherals (PWM, SPI, CAN, UART, I2C, ADC, DAC).
• FPGA programming.
• MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation.
• Real‑time operating systems (RTOS) or cooperative schedulers.
• Test‑driven development, unit testing frameworks, and CI pipelines for embedded software.
• Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Knowledge of safety‑critical systems and functional safety standards.
