Electrical Engineer – Generator Assembly

About the role

Meico Power Generators is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to join its generator assembly factory. You will oversee the electrical assembly, testing, and commissioning of generator sets, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise electrical assembly of generator sets.
• Read and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Perform electrical testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Support production and after‑sales teams in resolving electrical and technical issues.
• Coordinate with mechanical, production, and quality departments.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency and product reliability.
• Maintain technical documentation and inspection records.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, manufacturing, or generator assembly.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, control panels, ATS, MTS, synchronizing systems, alternators, and diesel generators.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment and troubleshooting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with AutoCAD or other electrical design software.
