Electrical Engineer – Distribution & Power

About the role

You will work at the core of our distribution operations, blending network design, loss‑reduction studies and daily site supervision with live network management. The position offers exposure to medium‑ and low‑voltage distribution, conventional and renewable power production, smart metering and the full project documentation cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a thorough working knowledge of the distribution electrical network and supervise daily site works.
• Carry out electrical network design and loss‑reduction studies.
• Operate the GIS platform and follow network editing procedures.
• Prepare and manage project documentation from commencement to close‑out, including BOQs, design, shop and as‑built drawings.
• Work with smart meters and net‑metering systems, including energy‑meter testing.
• Support power production operations for both fuel‑based and renewable generation.
• Perform manoeuvres on MV lines under fault conditions to restore power.
• Monitor warehouse quantities and manage materials.
• Collaborate with engineers and technical colleagues while adhering to ISO and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Electrical Engineer with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in several of the following areas: medium‑ and low‑voltage distribution, site supervision, network maintenance, electrical design, power generation, control and metering equipment.
• Comfortable working both in the field and on technical documentation.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
