Driver – Transportation Services for IRC Lebanon

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Lebanon is seeking a professional driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for staff and cargo across the country. Working under the Logistics and Fleet Management team, you will support humanitarian operations by ensuring timely movement of personnel and materials.

Key responsibilities

• Transport authorized IRC personnel and cargo to project sites, warehouses, and suppliers in compliance with IRC policies.
• Perform daily vehicle checks, basic inspections, and maintain accurate log sheets for all movements.
• Adhere to Lebanese traffic laws and IRC fleet standards while operating vehicles.
• Report accidents, incidents, or breakdowns promptly and follow IRC procedures.
• Be available for field missions, including inter‑office travel and overnight stays as needed.
• Travel throughout Lebanon, subject to security clearance and authorization.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of professional driving experience.
• Valid public driving license at all times.
• Fluent Arabic; basic working knowledge of English is preferred.
• Familiarity with NGO or humanitarian operations is an asset.
• Strong time‑management and reliability.

Required skills
