Document Control Specialist

About the role

MultiLane Test Products (MLTP) is seeking a Document Control Specialist to manage product lifecycle data and engineering change processes within its electronic test instrumentation business. The role reports to the Senior Operations Manager and supports both quality and manufacturing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, manage, and administer the PLM system.
• Handle Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) from initiation through approval and implementation.
• Create new part numbers and BOMs, ensuring correct format and structure.
• Process deviations and waivers for non‑conforming materials or products.
• Maintain control of drawings, specifications, BOMs, and manufacturing documents.
• Export released ECO packages from PLM to suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Support Quality Management System audits and follow related policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in a technical field is desirable.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Document Control Specialist in an electronic manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Experience with modern PLM systems such as TeamCenter, Arena, Oracle or AutoDesk.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards (a plus).
