Director of Brand Marketing (FMCG)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Brand Marketing to lead the growth and expansion of our FMCG product portfolio across Ghana and West Africa. The role will be based in Accra and requires hands‑on leadership of brand strategy, product development and market execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies and marketing plans.
• Manage product development, launches and brand extension initiatives.
• Coordinate with suppliers and agencies to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities.
• Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, competitor activity and sales performance.
• Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations for senior management.
• Support business development initiatives for new products and market expansion.
• Monitor marketing budgets, campaign performance and ROI.
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communication materials.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in brand marketing, strategy and management within leading FMCG companies.
• Proven track record of successful brand building in competitive markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret market trends and performance data.
• Excellent communication skills in English; French is a plus.
• Willingness to be based in or relocate to Accra, Ghana.
