Digital Inclusion Policy Intern

About the role

The Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) is seeking a motivated intern to support its Arab Digital Inclusion Platform (ADIP). The role offers hands‑on experience in policy research, data analysis, and event coordination aimed at fostering inclusive digital transformation across the Arab region.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct background research and compile information for the development of a National Digital Inclusion Policy Template.
• Prepare statistical tables, graphs, and presentation materials for project deliverables.
• Review documents and data for accuracy, clarity, and relevance.
• Assist in planning and tracking milestones for events and other project activities.
• Draft reports, briefs, presentations, and correspondences, including translation between English and Arabic.
• Update and maintain content on the ADIP online portal.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a graduate program, in the final year of a bachelor’s program, or a recent university graduate.
• Strong interest in United Nations work and commitment to its values.
• Ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools).
