DevOps Engineer

About the role

Siren is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its team in Beirut. As part of the infrastructure team, you will set up, manage and monitor the VMware infrastructure, implement CI/CD processes with GitHub, automate development workflows and work closely with software engineering teams and clients to apply best security practices.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with software engineering teams and clients.
• Set up, manage and monitor the VMware infrastructure.
• Implement CI/CD processes using GitHub and build CI/CD pipelines.
• Review, verify and validate source code to ensure strong security practices.
• Automate and improve the development and release process.
• Create infrastructure and development environments using Ansible.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends in DevOps technologies and document all development steps.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A delivery-oriented, multitasking approach to work.

Required skills

• Kubernetes certification with a focus on on-premises implementation (a must).
• VMware infrastructure management.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitHub.
• Ansible for automation and environment creation.
