DevOps Engineer – IS Operations (24/6 Shift Model)

About the role

We are hiring DevOps Engineers to join a high‑impact IS Operations team at a leading financial technology company in Beirut. This support‑focused position is embedded within the client’s IS Operations domain, responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and supporting mission‑critical tooling that serves managed services teams and global end‑clients.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and support in‑house platforms, microservices, and containerised services on AWS.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and change‑management tickets via ITSM tooling.
• Execute Saturday releases with precision and accountability.
• Perform root‑cause analysis on recurring issues and escalate when needed.
• Maintain knowledge‑base documentation and improve runbooks.
• Collaborate during shift handover to ensure continuity of operations.
• Work rotating shifts as part of a 24/6 coverage model.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in IT support, DevOps support, or systems operations.
• Hands‑on familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (deployment, monitoring, basic troubleshooting).
• Working knowledge of AWS core services and microservices architecture.
• Experience with ITSM platforms for incident, change, and service request management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
