Development Manager – Fundraising

About the role

The Office of Advancement at OpenMinds Lebanon is seeking a Development Manager to lead major‑gift fundraising initiatives. Reporting to the Vice President for Advancement, you will shape and execute an integrated development strategy that expands philanthropic support for the organization’s medical, research, and community programs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify fundraising priorities in coordination with the Vice President for Advancement and devise plans to achieve them.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue‑generation plan that includes sponsored projects, contracts, grants, gifts, and corporate partnerships.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward new and existing donors, sponsors, foundations, and government agencies.
• Manage a portfolio of at least 250 major‑gift prospects, each with a giving capacity of $500,000 or more.
• Create and execute the FY2027 fundraising plan, covering donor acquisition, prospect research, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a large portfolio of major donors and partners.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and engage high‑capacity prospects.
• Strong collaboration skills with senior leadership, especially the Vice President for Advancement.
• Commitment to the mission of supporting children and young adults with special needs.
