Demand Planner

About the role

We are seeking a data‑driven Demand Planner to join our growing Demand Planning Team. You will own forecasting and inventory health for a dedicated Vendor/SKU portfolio within a 5,000+ SKU catalog, acting as the bridge between sales velocity and supply‑chain execution.

Key responsibilities

• Build and refine baseline demand forecasts using historical sales, promotions, and channel metrics.
• Collaborate with the Demand Planning Team and vendors to manage lead times, MOQs, and delivery schedules.
• Set and adjust safety stocks, reorder points, and lead‑time parameters in Odoo to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
• Integrate commercial inputs such as promotions, new product launches, and backorder trends into forecasting models.
• Monitor turnover velocity and shelf life, alerting commercial teams to slow‑moving or near‑expiry items.
• Translate forecasts into precise purchase orders and reorder schedules for assigned vendors.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn raw commercial data into accurate demand forecasts.
• Team player who takes full ownership of an assigned portfolio.
• 2+ years of experience in demand planning, supply‑chain analysis, inventory control, or vendor management, preferably in FMCG, retail, or multi‑channel distribution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Required skills

• Practical experience with Odoo (or comparable ERP systems).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data modeling).
