Datacom Technical Expert

About the role

The Datacom Technical Expert will provide high‑quality technical support for network projects and ongoing maintenance services. You will work closely with project managers and customer technical teams to ensure compliance with agreed standards and deliver reliable network performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical support and troubleshooting for IP, Datacom, and carrier network projects.
• Ensure compliance with customer‑agreed technical standards and service level requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and customer teams to provide technical consultation and maintain strong relationships.
• Support project implementation, monitor quality standards, and participate in acceptance testing.
• Establish and execute preventive and corrective maintenance procedures, including software upgrades and corrective releases.
• Analyze customer requirements and propose technical solutions to optimise network performance and reliability.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
• Assist cross‑functional teams in resolving complex technical issues and improving customer experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, preferably in IP, Datacom or carrier network environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken, written, reading); Arabic language is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and within multicultural teams.
