Contracts Engineer (EPC) – Beirut

About the role

The Contracts Engineer will oversee the full lifecycle of EPC contracts for projects based in Beirut, ensuring compliance with company policies, client requirements, and legal standards. This role requires close collaboration with legal, procurement, finance, and project teams to safeguard contractual performance.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, review, and manage contracts from inception to close‑out.
• Support negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, identifying and mitigating risks.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for audits, claims, and dispute resolution.
• Handle variations, claims, and change orders, ensuring proper evaluation and approval.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align contract terms with operational and financial goals.
• Monitor EPC contract laws, industry standards, and regulatory updates.
• Prepare regular reports on contract performance, risks, and compliance for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of contract administration experience in EPC, construction, or infrastructure projects.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and EPC/EPCM agreements.
• Experience with subcontractor and procurement contract management.
• Proficiency in contract management software.
• Advanced skills in the MS Office Suite.
