Consultancy: Safeguarding / PSEAH Specialist

About the role

Right To Play is seeking an experienced Safeguarding and PSEAH (Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment) consultant to support its education programmes in Lebanon. The consultant will work across multiple projects, providing technical guidance on child protection, psychosocial support and capacity‑building for local partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on safeguarding policies and PSEAH procedures for the EQIE, Makani and Game Changers projects.
• Design and deliver training sessions for staff and facilitators on play‑based child protection best practices.
• Support the development and implementation of psychosocial support and psychological first‑aid activities for children and adolescents.
• Assist local NGOs in strengthening their safeguarding systems and monitoring compliance.
• Contribute to the establishment of community‑based child protection committees and reporting mechanisms.

Required profile

• Proven experience in child protection, safeguarding and PSEAH within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong understanding of psychosocial support and play‑based learning approaches.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively with local partners and international donors.
