Companion Caregiver – Non‑Skilled Home Care

About the role

Adaptive VitalCare is seeking caring, dependable individuals to join our team as non‑skilled caregivers. No medical license is required; a genuine passion for helping others and promoting independence is essential. Caregivers provide companionship and support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily activities, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care.

Key responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients in their residences.
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal hygiene tasks.
• Support daily routines, mobility, and overall well‑being.
• Provide reminders for self‑administered medications and observe any changes in client condition.
• Report observations to supervisors and maintain accurate documentation of services.
• Promote a safe, clean, and supportive environment for each client.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Pass a background check and required screenings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Required skills

• Basic caregiving or home‑health aide experience (6–12 months preferred).
• Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
• Familiarity with CNA or other healthcare‑related training is a plus.
