Community Pharmacist – Full‑time, Beirut

About the role

Mehio Pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join its community team in Beirut. The role involves accurate dispensing of prescription medications, thorough prescription review, and personalized counseling on dosage, side effects, and drug interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and verify prescriptions for appropriateness.
• Provide clear counseling to patients on dosage, side effects, and potential drug interactions.
• Manage medication orders, advise customers on over‑the‑counter products, vitamins, supplements, skincare, and dermocosmetics.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain inventory, check expiry dates, organize stock, and handle documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver professional, respectful, and personalized customer service.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist with a degree in Pharmacy (BS, PharmD, or equivalent) eligible to practice in Lebanon.
• Strong knowledge of prescription and OTC medications, including dosage, indications, contraindications, and interactions.
• Experience in patient counseling and health education within a community or retail pharmacy setting.
• Ability to manage inventory, handle medication storage requirements, and maintain accurate records.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills, with a focus on respectful, gender‑neutral interactions.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and capacity to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus.
• Previous experience in skincare and willingness to work full‑time on‑site during PM shifts.
