Commercial Director – Hospitality

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Commercial Director to join our leadership team and drive revenue growth across the hotel’s Sales, Revenue Management and Reservations functions. This strategic position will shape the commercial direction, enhance market positioning and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the hotel’s commercial strategy to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Lead, motivate and manage the Sales, Revenue Management and Reservations teams.
• Identify new business opportunities and nurture relationships with corporate clients, travel partners and key accounts.
• Analyse market trends, competitor performance and demand patterns to optimise pricing and inventory.
• Monitor performance through KPIs, forecasting, budgeting and strategic reporting.
• Collaborate with operational departments to align commercial initiatives with guest experience goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in senior commercial leadership roles.
• Proven track record of developing and executing commercial strategies that increase market share and revenue.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Excellent analytical ability to interpret market intelligence, demand trends and financial data.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of Sales, Revenue Management, Reservations, Marketing and Business Development within hospitality.
