Cloud Engineer (Microsoft Azure & Google Cloud Platform)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Cloud Engineer with 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform. The role involves designing, deploying, securing, automating and supporting enterprise‑scale cloud infrastructure while collaborating with software engineering, DevOps, cybersecurity and solution architecture teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain cloud environments on Azure and GCP, including VMs, storage, networking, databases and managed services.
• Perform infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, resource and cost optimization.
• Configure and manage virtual networks, subnets, NSGs, route tables, VPN gateways, ExpressRoute, load balancers, application gateways, firewalls, DNS and private endpoints.
• Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters (AKS and GKE), containerize applications with Docker, configure ingress controllers and implement autoscaling.
• Manage API platforms such as Azure API Management or Google Apigee, handling publishing, security policies, rate limiting and monitoring.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD, and automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, ARM templates or Bicep.
• Implement cloud security controls including Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, IAM, RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault and secrets management.
• Monitor cloud operations with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights and Google Cloud Operations Suite, and support incident management and root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of professional experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security and cost‑optimization principles.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes (AKS, GKE) and containerization.
• Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines and automating deployments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional engineering and security teams.
