Civil Project Engineer – Ground Engineering

About the role

Chalouhi Engineering & Technology is expanding its Project Engineering team and seeks a Civil Project Engineer to support international civil infrastructure and ground engineering projects. You will work with experienced engineers on complex civil works such as shoring, piling, anchoring, shotcrete, and excavation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain engineering trackers and registers for piling, shotcrete, anchoring, capping beams, excavation and site progress.
• Assist with construction documentation, including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), permits and management plans.
• Develop piling schedules, anchor registers, shotcrete registers and excavation summaries.
• Monitor and update project progress trackers and site records.
• Support construction sequencing, project programmes and technical documentation.
• Review drawings, prepare mark‑ups and calculate engineering quantities.
• Maintain project documentation on SharePoint and other project systems.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in civil construction projects.
• Experience with shoring systems, piling, excavation, anchoring, shotcrete and ground engineering works.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and engineering documentation.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
