Civil Engineer – Design & Stormwater Management

About the role

The Training Center of the Order of Engineers & Architects in Tripoli is seeking a full‑time Civil Engineer to join its multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on designing and reviewing civil engineering projects, including site layouts, infrastructure components, and stormwater management systems, while supporting the Center’s training activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and design documentation for civil projects.
• Assist in project planning and ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and OEA standards.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support training sessions, mentor trainees, and provide technical guidance.
• Contribute to quality control, documentation, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Eligibility or registration as a Civil Engineer with the Order of Engineers and Architects, or a clear path to registration.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a commitment to ethical and safe engineering practice.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D or similar design tools.
• Understanding of structural, geotechnical, and infrastructure principles.
• Experience in planning and stormwater management for urban and regional projects.
