Chief Information Officer

About the role

We are seeking a strategic Chief Information Officer to lead our technology operations and align IT initiatives with business objectives. The role involves overseeing network security, managing budgets, and guiding a team of IT professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all technology operations, including network security, and evaluate them against established goals.
• Develop and implement IT policies and systems supporting upper management strategies.
• Analyze departmental business requirements to determine technology needs.
• Procure cost‑effective hardware, software, and other technological equipment.
• Monitor the use of equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
• Identify needs for upgrades, configurations, or new systems and report to senior leadership.
• Coordinate IT managers and supervise computer scientists, technicians, and other professionals.
• Control the IT budget and report on expenditures.
• Assist in building vendor relationships and negotiating cost‑efficient contracts.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT director or in a comparable senior IT leadership role.
• Demonstrated expertise in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems and specifications.
• Strong understanding of computer systems, including hardware, software, and networking.
• Experience managing and controlling an information technology budget.
