Case Worker – Child Protection (Bekaa & Baalbek)

About the role

The Case Worker will support vulnerable children across the Bekaa and Baalbek regions, implementing home‑based case management in line with child protection SOPs. Working under the Case Management Officer, the role involves direct interaction with children, families, host communities and service providers to ensure safety and well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess vulnerable children, conduct outreach and refer to appropriate services.
• Develop and maintain individualized case plans for children, caregivers and biological families.
• Document case information securely in physical files, soft documents and the CPIMS system.
• Provide regular feedback and reporting to the line manager on case progress, challenges and success stories.
• Distribute cash assistance according to national standards and monitor its use.
• Deliver specialized psychosocial support when required.
• Collaborate with team members and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated protection actions.

Required profile

• Experience in child protection, case management or humanitarian assistance.
• Ability to work flexibly, handle medium to high‑risk cases and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills with children, families and community partners.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to work independently in challenging environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Child Protection Information Management System (CPIMS).
