Campus Life & Engagement Lead

About the role

The Campus Life & Engagement Lead is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating campus‑wide initiatives that boost student participation, support official clubs, and create intercultural experiences. Working across university units, external partners and student leaders, the role shapes an inclusive, vibrant campus community.

Key responsibilities

• Design, coordinate and deliver major events such as Orientation Week, Cultural Fairs, Leadership Summits and international forums, managing budgets, resources and timelines.
• Oversee registration, governance and operational guidance for official student clubs and societies, ensuring compliance with university policies.
• Develop and facilitate leadership workshops, training seminars and retreats for student officers.
• Act as the primary liaison between student representatives, international participants and university administration, managing digital communication channels to maximise visibility.
• Administer project budgets, vendor documentation and unit expenditures while enforcing safety and risk‑management protocols.
• Supervise event staff, volunteers and student ambassadors, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of programmes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in business administration, higher education, social sciences, event management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project management, student affairs or large‑scale event administration.
• Strong knowledge of student engagement, campus life, cultural exchange programmes and university policies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using university information systems and digital platforms for event planning, communication, budgeting and data reporting.
