Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

ECG Brands is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to own the reporting and analytics function across its construction franchise businesses. You will partner with head‑office leadership and franchise owners to turn operational, sales, and financial data into actionable insights that drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards in Zoho Analytics (or comparable BI tools) covering sales, operations, and financial performance.
• Own data pipelines and ETL processes, ensuring accurate, timely data integration for reporting.
• Monitor data quality, troubleshoot synchronization issues, and resolve data anomalies.
• Prepare weekly and monthly business analyses, highlighting trends, opportunities, and risks for leadership and franchisees.
• Manage reporting and analytics requests from internal departments and franchisees, delivering solutions independently.
• Develop, maintain, and document the data model as new sources and reporting needs arise.
• Gain deep understanding of the franchise business model to ensure reports provide meaningful, actionable insights.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience building dashboards with BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik, or similar.
• Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, window functions, and CTEs.
• Practical experience with ETL processes, incremental loads, transformation logic, and data pipeline monitoring.
• Solid understanding of data modelling, database structures, normalization, star schemas, and indexing.
• Exceptional written English communication skills.
