Business Application Specialist

About the role

Chedid Capital, a leading financial holding company in insurance and reinsurance, is seeking a French‑speaking Business Application Specialist. The role supports the IT department and all business units by maintaining and improving enterprise applications across a global network of 64 subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business processes, identify issues and propose solutions aligned with corporate strategy.
• Support, maintain and troubleshoot WinDev applications, including programming and report generation.
• Participate in the evaluation, selection and implementation of new applications and system enhancements.
• Gather requirements, conduct gap analysis and collaborate with departments to design effective solutions.
• Conduct testing (UAT, performance, regression, integration) and prepare program documentation.
• Provide technical support and problem resolution across all business units, including extended‑hour coverage when needed.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks and escalate issues as required.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design and deliver updates and improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in a similar business‑application support role.
• Fluent written and spoken French.

Required skills

• WinDev (strong plus).
• Knowledge of VB.NET or Python.
• Solid SQL proficiency.
