Broadcast or MCR Operator

About the role

The Broadcast/MCR Operator will work full‑time on‑site in Beirut, ensuring reliable live broadcast and transmission feeds for TV productions. You will monitor signal quality, operate broadcast equipment, and support the technical team during live events.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and check broadcast and MCR equipment, including encoders, decoders, routing systems and satellite/IP transmission platforms.
• Manage schedules, playlists and content loading for on‑air transmission.
• Monitor live playout, signal quality and visual standards, responding quickly to any on‑air incidents.
• Coordinate with production, editorial and technical teams to resolve technical issues.
• Perform routine system checks, document incidents and follow established broadcast procedures.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in TV production and control‑room or studio workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Readiness to support live events and irregular schedules.
