Barista – Coffee & Beverage Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a friendly Barista to join our team at Beit Youssef Restaurant. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality coffee, tea and specialty beverages while delivering a warm, welcoming experience to every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea and espresso‑based drinks according to our standards.
• Operate, clean and perform basic maintenance on coffee equipment.
• Prepare beverage garnishes and simple snacks, ensuring hygiene and safety compliance.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow health‑and‑safety guidelines.
• Greet guests, take orders, answer menu questions and provide efficient customer service.
• Collaborate closely with front‑of‑house and kitchen teams, especially during peak periods.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with guests.
• Customer‑service orientation with the ability to handle guest inquiries and concerns.
• Reliability in a fast‑paced environment and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and varying shifts.
• Ability to work well within a team and support smooth service flow.
• Proficiency in more than one language is a plus.
