Backend PHP Developer

About the role

CapsLock is seeking a Backend PHP Developer to join its remote‑first team. You will work on a marketing platform serving large North‑American partners, contributing to both existing projects and new initiatives while growing your expertise alongside experienced engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design, implement, and manage software programs.
• Write clean, efficient PHP code (7.4+) following specifications.
• Integrate third‑party components and maintain existing systems.
• Develop and execute quality‑assurance procedures, testing, and deployment processes.
• Create technical documentation and collaborate with developers, designers, and analysts.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional PHP development experience.
• Strong grasp of OOP, design patterns, and layered architecture.
• Proficient written English and effective remote communication skills.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a positive, entrepreneurial attitude.
