Associate Purchasing Accountant Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Associate Purchasing Accountant Specialist to join our finance team. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of all purchase‑related accounting activities, supports month‑end closing and complies with local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate purchase entries, shipments and journal vouchers prepared by the team.
• Ensure completeness and proper supporting documentation for all financial entries.
• Perform detailed daily journal entry reviews and Statement of Accounts reconciliations.
• Conduct stock reviews, confirmations and sales report checks.
• Complete monthly closing activities on schedule.
• Coordinate with vendors on payments, invoices and related requests.
• Identify discrepancies, follow up with stakeholders and implement corrections.
• Develop and maintain reports and tracking tools for stock and price monitoring.
• Contribute to process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee accurate financial reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lebanese accounting practices and regulations.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.
