Associate Expenses Accountant Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Associate Expenses Accountant Specialist to join our finance team. The position ensures the accuracy and integrity of expense‑related accounting activities, supports monthly closing processes, and helps maintain compliance with both local Lebanese standards and international accounting frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate expense entries, accruals, prepaid transactions and ensure proper supporting documentation.
• Perform detailed reviews of daily journal entries and Statement of Accounts reconciliations.
• Verify accounting treatment for accruals, provisions, prepaid expenses and payroll‑related entries (salaries, NSSF, taxes).
• Complete monthly closing activities on time and support accounting operations for Gulf and foreign entities.
• Identify discrepancies, follow up with stakeholders, and develop reports/tracking tools for expense monitoring.
• Contribute to process improvements and strengthen internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lebanese accounting practices (mandatory) and exposure to UAE, US, UK or Canadian standards.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (mandatory).
• Solid understanding of payroll accounting, accruals and prepaid accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
