Assistant Audit Manager

About the role

RSM Lebanon is seeking an Assistant Audit Manager to join its audit practice in Sinn Al Fil. This full‑time, on‑site position involves leading audit engagements, reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and supervise audit assignments for a diverse client base.
• Perform risk assessments, identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements.
• Review financial statements and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare audit reports, management letters and communicate findings clearly to clients.
• Coach and develop junior staff through on‑the‑job training and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with senior management to enhance audit methodologies and service quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; master’s degree is a plus.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent highly preferred.
• Several years of experience in external audit, including supervising audit teams.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple engagements.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic; French is an asset.
