Administrative and Paralegal Interns (Summer)

About the role

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Lebanon (TRA) is looking for motivated university students or recent graduates for a three-month summer internship. There are three positions available, based in the Ministry of Telecommunications building in downtown Beirut. Interns gain practical exposure to the administrative, legal and regulatory work of the Authority, supporting management and teams with administrative processes, legal and regulatory research, document preparation and record keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general administrative and organizational support.
• Prepare, review, format and file official documents and correspondence.
• Carry out legal, regulatory and policy research.
• Help prepare legal notes, summaries, reports, meeting minutes and presentations.
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic records.
• Support the review and classification of laws, regulations, decisions, contracts and official documents.
• Assist with meeting preparation, scheduling and follow-up.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a university programme in Law, Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration or another relevant field.
• Strong interest in administrative, legal, regulatory or public-sector work.
• Excellent command of Arabic and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, professional and able to handle information with discretion and confidentiality.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Research, writing, organizational and communication skills.
