About the role

Moustasharoun Bureau is a professional services firm offering accounting, financial and advisory support to a wide range of clients, with a focus on accuracy, transparency and compliance with financial regulations. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Accountant based in Mhaydse.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, record financial transactions and maintain general ledgers.
• Prepare financial statements and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank and account balances.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Support tax preparation and filing, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.
• Provide clear, timely financial reports for management and clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field; professional certifications such as CPA are an advantage.
• Experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a bureau, firm or similar professional services setting.
• Solid analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
• Effective written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work independently and collaboratively in an on-site environment.
• High ethical standards, discretion with sensitive information and commitment to continuous learning.

Required skills

• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and local tax regulations.
• Proficiency with accounting software and office productivity tools such as Excel and accounting ERPs.
