Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and organized Accountant to join our team in Beirut. The role involves handling a variety of financial transactions, payment processing and collections while working closely with the accounting department.

Key responsibilities

• Process multiple payment transactions from various sources.
• Prepare daily cash reports and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Record receipts and maintain accurate records using Excel spreadsheets.
• Manage payroll, cash advances and execute bank transfers.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation checks.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders or receipts before processing.
• Support accounts payable by organizing invoices, preparing payment vouchers and updating vendor records.
• Track accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.

Required profile

• Fluency in Arabic and English; French is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong numerical aptitude and high‑accuracy data entry skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain precise records.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
