Accountant

About the role

CIS Group, an ICT company based in Jal El Dib, is seeking a motivated Accountant to join its dynamic finance team. You will work in a fast‑paced, structured environment, handling a wide range of accounting activities while developing key professional skills.

Key responsibilities

• Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records in line with standards and company procedures.
• Support month‑end closing by completing required entries, inventory valuations, reconciliations and gross‑margin verification.
• Perform intercompany, bank and cash reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and maintain proper documentation.
• Validate invoices, supporting documents and ledger entries, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Monitor VAT, social security contributions, WHT and other tax filings to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation according to internal controls.
• Proactively identify and resolve accounting errors, discrepancies and process weaknesses.
• Collaborate with local accounting teams and other departments to ensure timely and accurate data entry.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and month‑end closing procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks and manage priorities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and data handling.
• Experience with accounting systems or ERP platforms (a plus).
