Accountant

About the role

CIS Group, an ICT company based in Jal El Dib, is seeking a motivated Accountant to join its dynamic accounting team. You will work in a fast‑paced, structured environment, collaborating with experienced professionals while taking ownership of a broad range of accounting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records in line with standards and company procedures.
• Support month‑end closing by completing required entries, inventory valuations, account reconciliations, and verifying gross margins.
• Perform intercompany, bank and cash reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.
• Validate invoices, supporting documents and ledger entries, identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes.
• Monitor VAT, social security contributions, withholding tax and other tax filings to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records and supporting documentation according to internal controls.
• Proactively detect accounting errors or process weaknesses, coordinate with relevant teams and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with local accounting teams and other departments to guarantee correct data entry and timely submission.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude when interacting with multicultural colleagues.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of general accounting principles and month‑end closing procedures.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and data handling.
• Experience with accounting systems or ERP solutions (preferred).
