About the role
CIS Group, an ICT company based in Jal El Dib, is seeking a motivated Accountant to join its dynamic accounting team. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, develop key financial skills, and grow within the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
- Participate in month‑end closing, including journal entries, inventory variations and reconciliations.
- Perform inter‑company reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable, following up on outstanding balances.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve differences.
- Review invoices for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
- Handle petty cash and employee expense reports with proper documentation.
- Support VAT, NSSF and tax declarations, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Assist in preparing financial reports for management and ensure adherence to internal controls.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience with NSSF and tax declarations is a plus.
- Fluent in Arabic, English and French.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Required skills
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data handling).
- Experience with accounting systems or ERP (preferred).
