Accountant – ICT Company

About the role

CIS Group – an ICT company located in Jal El Dib – is seeking an ambitious and motivated Accountant to join its dynamic accounting team. The role offers the chance to work in a structured, fast‑paced environment alongside experienced professionals, develop key skills and take ownership of a wide range of accounting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records in accordance with applicable standards and company procedures.
• Support the month‑end closing process, including accounting entries, inventory valuations, reconciliations and gross‑margin verification.
• Perform intercompany, bank and cash reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and ensure proper support.
• Review invoices, supporting documents and ledgers for accuracy, completeness and correct classification, and identify process improvements.
• Monitor VAT, Social Security Contributions, WHT and other tax declarations to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records and documentation in line with internal controls.
• Proactively identify accounting errors, discrepancies and process weaknesses and follow up for timely resolution.
• Collaborate with local accounting teams and other departments to ensure correct data entry and timely submission.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of general accounting principles and month‑end closing procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, respectful of diverse nationalities and cultures.
• Languages: Arabic, English and French.

Required skills

• Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data handling).
• Experience with accounting systems / ERP (a plus).
