Accountant – Finance & Accounting

About the role

CIS Group, an ICT company located in Jal El Dib, is seeking an ambitious and motivated Accountant to join its dynamic accounting team. You will work in a structured, fast‑paced environment, develop key skills and take ownership of a wide range of accounting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records in line with applicable standards and company procedures.
• Support month‑end closing by completing required entries, inventory valuations, reconciliations and gross‑margin verification within deadlines.
• Perform intercompany, bank and cash reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and ensure balances are properly supported.
• Review invoices, supporting documents and ledgers for accuracy, completeness and proper classification, while identifying process improvements.
• Monitor VAT, Social Security Contributions, WHT and other tax declarations to ensure accurate recording and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records and documentation in line with internal controls.
• Proactively identify accounting errors, discrepancies and process weaknesses and coordinate timely corrections.
• Collaborate with local accounting teams and other departments to ensure data is correctly entered, supported and submitted on time.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of general accounting principles and month‑end closing procedures.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks and manage priorities effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a respectful, professional approach to diverse colleagues.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and data handling.
• Experience with accounting systems / ERP (a plus).
• Proficiency in Arabic, English and French.
