About the role
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to support our retail operations in Cameroon. The role involves preparing financial statements, managing transactions, and ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Manage financial transactions, bookkeeping, and reporting.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts and bank statements.
- Handle tax filings and regulatory compliance.
- Support budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in accounting.
- Business French proficiency.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Previous experience in Africa is a plus.
