Accountant – 5-7 years experience

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant with 5–7 years of professional experience to join our finance team. You will manage day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the department in meeting its strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting transactions.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Monitor cash flow and support treasury functions.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain fixed‑asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Coordinate with other departments on financial matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
