Account Manager – Telecom & Cloud Communications

About the role

Rutatel Technologies is seeking an Account Manager to lead a portfolio of B2B clients in the telecom and cloud communications space. Based in Beirut, the role focuses on delivering tailored messaging and routing solutions while ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Understand customer communication needs and propose appropriate A2P SMS, two‑way messaging, HLR cleansing, and MNP routing solutions.
• Coordinate onboarding, troubleshooting, and service optimization with technical and support teams.
• Prepare quotes, negotiate contract terms, and monitor usage and performance.
• Track account health, resolve issues promptly, and manage renewals and expansions.
• Analyze usage data to identify upsell or cross‑sell opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and deliver regular reports and forecasts to management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management, customer success, or sales within telecom, cloud communications, or related B2B technology sectors.
• Strong client‑relationship skills and commercial acumen, including pricing and contract negotiations.
• Comfort working with data and reports to monitor performance and recommend improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional regional languages are a plus.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, IT, or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a CRM platform such as Salesforce.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Presentation software expertise (e.g., PowerPoint).
