Academic Consultant – Digital Marketing & Graphic Design

About the role

OriginaliQ is seeking a remote Academic Consultant to provide high‑quality tutoring and project guidance to students studying digital marketing, graphic design, visual communication and related fields. The position is freelance and focuses on helping learners develop strategic, creative and technical competencies while upholding academic integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one‑on‑one online tutoring sessions covering digital marketing and design concepts.
• Support academic and creative projects, including marketing plans, visual materials, portfolios, presentations, theses and dissertations.
• Review and give feedback on research papers, technical reports and campaign proposals.
• Assist students with digital marketing strategy, social media, content creation, SEO, paid advertising, email marketing, branding, consumer behavior and campaign planning.
• Guide design work such as visual identity, typography, layout, user‑centered design and effective visual communication.
• Prepare customized learning materials and coordinate scheduling and communication with students.
• Collaborate with the wider consultancy team when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Advertising, Multimedia Design or a related field, or currently pursuing such a degree.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing principles and design fundamentals.
• Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills.
• Commitment to academic integrity and confidentiality.
