AC Supervisor

About the role

The AC Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of all air‑conditioning and refrigeration equipment within the hotel. You will lead a team of technicians, schedule preventive maintenance, and guarantee that temperature‑controlled areas meet required standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor indoor, outdoor, chiller, fan‑coil, air‑handling and supply temperatures.
• Prepare and follow a preventive maintenance schedule for all HVAC equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of condensing units, chillers, fan‑coil units and air handlers.
• Ensure chilled‑water pumps operate efficiently and that coolers/freezers keep required storage temperatures.
• Allocate tasks to subordinates based on capability and verify work meets defined standards.
• Secure tools and equipment, keep them in safe, working condition.
• Record maintenance activities and maintain documentation for future reference.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and promote skill development among engineering staff.
• Know and act according to hotel emergency and fire procedures.
• Operate in compliance with health, safety and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in HVAC/air‑conditioning systems.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and teamwork orientation.
• Familiarity with health, safety and environmental procedures.
